Hello! I'm Veronica, care-giver for Alicia at the end of her life. Alicia was a great teacher to me because she was exacting and because her challenge was so great. She faced an extremely painful death with great courage and she was victorious over this terrible illness which took her life but not her spirit. Would I have to face such challenge, she would be a role model to me. And so are all her friends who gathered around her in support. I want to give a big round of applause especially for Donna and Shirley who put their lives aside and showed tremendous faithfullness and generosity in making sure Alicia got the best possible care and all affairs were handled with the greatest integrity. Shirley and Donna you are a model of pure Friendship. You are my teachers too, everyone should be that lucky to have such great friends as you two. With love.
